Hajiev: Instead of Sending Cargo Trucks to the Lachin Checkpoint, Armenia Should Cease Territorial Claims Against Azerbaijan
Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and head of the foreign policy department of the presidential administration, has addressed the issue of sending humanitarian cargo to Stepanakert following a meeting with ambassadors from EU countries, Turkey, the USA, and Switzerland.
“Instead of theatrical scenes and sending cargo trucks to the Lachin checkpoint, Armenia should cease its territorial claims against Azerbaijan,” said Hajiyev, indicating that Armenia must withdraw “its elements of force from the territories of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh region and stop funding the illegal puppet regime.”
Hajiyev also emphasized that “it is necessary to ensure the disarmament of all illegal forces in Karabakh.”
