US Vice President Jay D. Vents has stated that negotiations with Tehran are challenging due to internal divisions within the Iranian government. He made these comments during an interview with Fox News.

“The reality is that, first of all, Iranians are extremely complex negotiators,” Vents said. According to him, Iran's state system is “decaying,” with individuals who want the war to end alongside “crazy radicals” who desire its continuation.

Vents noted that his task is to navigate this situation and achieve the best outcome not only for the American people but also for the President of the United States. He emphasized that this will not be easy and will require time.

At the same time, the US Vice President expressed confidence that ultimately Iran will never possess nuclear weapons and that the United States will find itself in a stronger position. “I can confidently say that everything will serve the interests of the United States. We will use all available tools—military, economic, and diplomatic—to reach the right solution,” Vents concluded.
