The Armenia Alliance Will Vote in Favor of Aram Vardevanyan's Candidacy: Anna Grigoryan

The Armenia Alliance will vote in favor of Aram Vardevanyan's candidacy for the position of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. This was stated by Anna Grigoryan, the head of the Armenia Alliance, in an interview with Alpha News.

According to her, the ruling majority cannot vote against Vardevanyan's candidacy, as this is not merely a matter of goodwill but a legal obligation.

“There is also a decision from the Constitutional Court, and they cannot fail to elect him. They might choose not to elect once, or I don’t know, those kinds of developments are also possible. But the direct obligation of the political majority is to secure the necessary votes so that the opposition also has a Deputy Speaker in the National Assembly. This is simply a fact,” noted Anna Grigoryan.
