Video: HEC to Become State Property and Transferred to Trust Management, Says Pashinyan
“The Electric Networks of Armenia (HEC) will become state property and will be transferred to trust management. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.
He did not specify who or which entity would take over the trust management of HEC.
“In the case of HEC, we have decided, at a conceptual level, that it will become state property, which will be transferred to trust management,” he stated.
The process of nationalizing HEC began last year when the government decided to suspend the company's license and appointed a temporary manager.
