Citizen Falls from Height of 10-12 Meters, Ends Up on Arpa River Bank
On July 23 at 03:11, the Crisis Management Center of the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department received a call that a citizen had fallen into a gorge from a height at the end of Vayk city, and assistance from rescuers was needed. This was reported by the official page of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service.
A rapid response team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was discovered that A.H. (born in 1994) had fallen from a height of about 10-12 meters from the roadside near the 139th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri section of the M-2 highway, ending up on the bank of the Arpa River.
Due to the lack of access routes to the injured person, the rescuers approached from the opposite bank of the river, crossed the river, administered first aid to the victim, transported them across the river via a stretcher, and brought them to a location approximately 600 meters away for the ambulance. A.H. was hospitalized at Vayk Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
