Azerbaijan Again Disconnects Gas Supply to Artsakh
The Azerbaijani side has completely disconnected the gas supply, which was restored yesterday, at noon today. Following this, the Artsakh gas company has supplied the accumulated gas in the internal network only to gas stations. This was reported by the Artsakh information headquarters.
“The gas accumulated over the last few hours has nearly been consumed, and in the coming hours, the gas stations will also cease operations. Nevertheless, we urge all subscribers to exercise additional vigilance in the coming days, as residual gas in various sections of the internal network may gradually escape, depending on temperature fluctuations.
At the same time, the Artsakhenergo company informs that starting tomorrow (from July 10), the previously announced schedule of six-hour power outages, which was to begin on July 11, will come into effect today, taking into account the interruption of gas supply.
It should be noted that during the 210 days of the blockade of Artsakh, the electricity supply from Armenia to Artsakh has been interrupted for 181 days, and the gas supply has been disrupted for a total of 143 days.
