Due to Enemy Gunfire, Planned Grape Cultivation in Artsakh's Machkhalashen Is Not Achieved
The residents of Machkhalashen community in the Martuni region of the Republic of Artsakh have planted various vegetables. They hope for satisfactory results. Only then will they be able to somewhat address their food supply issues, said Machkhalashen community leader Lernik Avanesyan to Artsakhpress.
According to him, they have not been able to cultivate the vineyards as planned because Azerbaijani positions are actively attempting to obstruct agricultural work.
“Nevertheless, we do not lose faith that we will be able to organize the harvest on time and use the yield appropriately,” the community leader said.
