Two of Today’s Four Casualties in Artsakh are from Martuni, Two from Martakert

Currently, I do not have information regarding the military actions, but I was able to confirm that two of the four casualties are from the town of Martuni, while the other two are from Martakert. This was stated by Metakse Hakobian, a member of Artsakh’s 'Justice' faction, in an interview with 24News.

“I would like to point out that one of the deceased had a father who was also killed in the 1992 war,” Hakobian elaborated.

Regarding the current situation, the deputy mentioned that no military operations are ongoing. “I spoke with residents to try to understand the situation, and they noted that there had been a prompt response from our military personnel and Russian peacekeepers. Currently, the safety of the residents is ensured, and there are no gunshots,” she added.

It should be recalled that on June 28, starting at 1:30 AM, the armed forces of Azerbaijan opened fire using artillery towards the Armenian positions in Martuni and Martakert, employing drones as well, resulting in four casualties on the Armenian side.
