NATO Forces' Entry into Ukraine Impossible, EU Military Chief Says
The entry of NATO forces into Ukrainian territory is impossible and is excluded. This was announced by Hervé Bléjean, the head of the EU military staff and commander of the EU training mission for Ukrainian military personnel, during a broadcast on the LCI channel.
According to him, sending ground troops to Ukraine would mean becoming a party to the conflict and waging war against Russia.
“No one wants that, neither NATO nor the European Union,” Bléjean stated, adding that the alliance is not a party to the conflict and will not become one.
Regarding the counteroffensive of Ukrainian forces, Bléjean stated that it will not lead to an end to the conflict, and that the authorities in Kyiv will not be able to regain territory.
