There Is No Military Sense in This: Putin on Attacks by Ukrainian Armed Forces on Residential Areas

Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on reports that the Ukrainian armed forces are carrying out attacks on residential areas. He stated that it is "not clear why this is happening," as there is "no military sense" in it. This was reported by kommersant.ru.

“Honestly, why is the adversary hitting residential areas? There is no logic. For what purpose, what is the sense? And this is surprising for specific humanitarian facilities: there is no military sense, it’s zero,” said the state leader during a conversation with state awardees at the Kremlin.

During the meeting, Putin was informed that, among other things, an attack had struck a trauma center in Donetsk. It is presumed that a shell hit the operating room. In response, the country’s leader called on newly deployed regions to adhere to safety regulations.
