Iranian Revolutionary Guards Officer Killed in Clashes with Armed Elements
An officer of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, Sajjad Amiri, has been killed in clashes with armed elements in the western part of the country. According to Tasnim news agency, this was confirmed by Ali Shaabani, the deputy governor for political affairs in Kermanshah province.
“One of the Basij officers, Sajjad Amiri, was killed during a confrontation between the Revolutionary Guards fighters and armed criminals in one of the suburban villages of Kermanshah,” emphasized the deputy governor. He added that efforts are underway to apprehend the armed criminals involved.
