Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Comments on Postponement of Meeting in Washington
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ayhan Hacizade commented on the postponement of the meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan scheduled to take place in Washington.
According to him, negotiations are currently underway to determine a new date for the talks between the heads of the foreign ministries of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"The meeting is expected to take place soon," he said, adding that typically, the coordination of such meetings is conducted by the host country, and therefore, the timelines will be announced by the hosting side.
It is worth noting that earlier, Armenia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan had announced that the next round of discussions between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan scheduled for next week in Washington was postponed at the request of the Azerbaijani side.
