Armenia Faces Logistic Challenges in Cooperation with EAEU Countries: Pashinyan
In the framework of economic cooperation with other member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Armenia is facing logistic challenges. This was announced by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a meeting of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council in an expanded format.
“Despite the steps already taken, we still encounter certain difficulties. In this regard, I want to emphasize the importance of cooperation among member states in strengthening logistical chains, as well as in the development and modernization of transport infrastructure,” he stated, addressing the topic of logistics within the EAEU territory.
Pashinyan highlighted that Armenia is making efforts to improve the transport infrastructure and create conditions for implementing relevant integration projects, particularly in developing the strategic North-South and East-West corridors. According to him, the potential of the Eurasian Development Bank will be utilized for funding these initiatives.
