Armenia Participates in the CIS Border Troops Commanders Council Meeting in Baku
Armenia is participating in the 86th meeting of the CIS Border Troops Commanders Council taking place in Baku. In addition to the Azerbaijani delegation, representatives from the border services of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Armenia are also participating. This information was reported by Eadaily.com.
The meeting is also attended by the CIS Coordinating Service, the CIS Executive Committee, the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center, and the Bureau for Coordination of the fight against organized and other dangerous crimes occurring within the CIS states, as well as the Coordinating Council of the International Union of Border Service Veterans and honored guests.
The agenda will include discussions on the situation at the borders of CIS countries, joint operations conducted in 2023, plans for 2024, and more. Additionally, bilateral meetings between delegations will take place.
