VIDEO: We Will Finish Earlier Than a Week, Avinyan on the Nubarashen Landfill Fire

During a press conference dedicated to the sixth international book festival in Yerevan, journalists asked Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan about the progress of extinguishing the fire at the Nubarashen landfill.

“We are actively carrying out earthworks using resources from the City Hall, the Ministry of Territorial Administration, and private companies. We thought it would take a week, but we are confident it will extinguish sooner. This is an issue that almost recurs every year,” said Avinyan.
