Director of Import and Purchasing Department of 'Mrgini' LLC Arrested in Cocaine Case
The Investigative Department of the National Security Service of Armenia has taken significant steps during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on May 13, 2023, registered under number 58221423. Based on comprehensive investigative and procedural actions conducted, a decision was made by the supervising prosecutor upon the investigator's request to initiate public criminal proceedings against M.G., a member of a criminal group and the director of the import and purchasing department of ‘Mrgini’ LLC, for illegally selling drugs in especially large quantities and committing drug smuggling in especially large quantities, according to relevant articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. He has been arrested for presentation to court.
Extensive and varied operational, investigative, and procedural actions continue under the criminal case to uncover the complete picture of the committed crimes, identify other individuals connected to the cases, initiate public criminal proceedings against them, and effectively implement the principles of unavoidable criminal liability.
