Cash Benefits and Assistance Will Only Be Paid Non-Cash in Communities with More Than 1,000 Residents

Starting July 1, family and social benefits, as well as urgent assistance, will be paid exclusively in a non-cash manner in cities and communities with more than 1,000 residents. This information was provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Only individuals who are 75 years of age or older, as well as those with first or second group disabilities, will be able to continue receiving their benefits in cash via HayPost at their discretion.

“Families that do not submit an application to change the payment method by June 30 will receive benefits through the program's tool in a non-cash format, and the bank will be selected randomly (taking into account the proportion of families receiving non-cash benefits in that community according to the paying banks). Thus, any adult family member receiving benefits in cities and in communities with more than 1,000 residents must apply to the Territorial Center serving their area by June 30 and submit a request for changing the payment method to avoid potential lines for information about the bank selected by the system,” the statement notes.
