The European Union Must Take Measures Against India, Says Josep Borrell
The European Union must take measures against India, which allegedly processes oil received from the Russian Federation for sale in Europe. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, in an interview with the Financial Times.
Borrell noted that due to the price cap on Russian oil set by the G7 countries, India has been able to take advantage of cheaper raw materials.
"It is normal that India buys Russian oil... But if they use it to become a hub that processes Russian oil and sells by-products to us, then we must act," Borrell added.
