Presented the Security Situation Surrounding Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh - Secretary of the Security Council
The Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan presented details of recent Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations that took place in Washington and Brussels to members of the NATO Committee of Permanent Representatives in Brussels. This was reported by the Secretary of the Security Council on his Facebook page.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the regional security environment.
“I presented the security situation surrounding Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and the humanitarian crisis that has arisen in the region, which contains risks of ethnic cleansing. I called on the international community to respond in order to prevent the aforementioned,” Grigoryan wrote.
The Secretary of the Security Council also emphasized the Armenian side's commitment to normalize relations with Turkey without preconditions. Discussions were held regarding the development of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and NATO, specifically regarding the tailored partnership program.
