«I am not aware of discussions regarding enclaves» - Deputy Foreign Minister
There is no ongoing discussion about the return of the "Azerbaijani enclaves" located in Armenia. This was stated by Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Paruir Hovhannisyan in response to a journalist's question.
"I am not aware of discussions regarding enclaves; I have no information about such discussions, either in recent times or in the past," Hovhannisyan noted.
Addressing the statement made by Charles Michel, President of the European Council, the deputy minister indicated that there are agreements related to Armenian prisoners that need to be implemented.
"Regarding territorial issues, Michel's message was that the two countries should mutually recognize territorial integrity, meaning the borders that existed at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union, which corresponds to the Almaty Declaration," Hovhannisyan said.
