Zakharova Comments on Reports of Zelensky Receiving the 'Charlemagne' Prize
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on German media reports regarding the possible visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Germany. She stated that there will be photographs following this visit, indicating his award for “destroying everything Russian, demolishing monuments, and glorifying Nazi collaborators.”
Earlier, the German newspaper Bild reported on Zelensky's potential visit to Germany in May, where he is expected to receive the Charlemagne Prize. This award is given annually to individuals who contribute to European unification.
“Now Berlin has set a new goal. This time, the West decided to make Europe not devoid of Jews, but devoid of Russians,” Zakharova emphasized.
