Nikol Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin Discuss in Phone Conversation
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
During the phone call, the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh due to the illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan was discussed. In the context of overcoming the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of consistent actions by the Russian peacekeeping mission.
Discussions also covered the implementation of the trilateral statements by the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan dated November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022, including issues related to the unblocking of regional transportation infrastructure.
Exchanges of views took place on Armenian-Russian relations and other developments occurring within that framework.
