Illegal Sand Extraction Ceased in Masis Community
In the administrative territory of the Ranchpar settlement in the Masis community of the Ararat region, a case of illegal extraction of natural resources has been discovered. This was reported by the press service of the Environmental and Mining Inspection Body.
It was noted that the illegal extraction was carried out without the right to use natural resources. 'There was a relocation of the sandy mountainous mass. The sand removed from the area was washed from the lake created by sand extraction using two electric pumps, which was done without a water usage permit,' the statement said.
Administrative liability measures have been applied. The materials of the case have been transferred to law enforcement agencies.
