Extraordinary Expanded Meeting of the Artsakh Security Council Held Under the Leadership of the President

On March 31, an extraordinary expanded meeting of the Artsakh Security Council was convened under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan.

The meeting discussed issues related to the defense of Artsakh, the security of its population, and the provision of essential services in the context of tightened blockades and ongoing provocations from Azerbaijan. Reports were presented by State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan and Defense Minister, Lieutenant General Kamo Vardanyan.

President Harutyunyan emphasized the importance of close and coordinated collaboration among law enforcement and civil institutions, state administration, and local self-governing bodies in addressing urgent and long-term challenges. In light of the discussed issues, the President issued several directives to the relevant authorities.
