Erdogan and Aliyev Meet, What They Discussed
On Wednesday evening, a meeting was held in Ankara between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to discuss bilateral relations and the resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations.
According to the information posted on the site of Azerbaijan's leader, “During the conversation, the presidents exchanged thoughts on the process of resolving relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the ongoing negotiations regarding the peace treaty.”
Aliyev and Erdogan, commenting on bilateral relations, emphasized the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all areas.
“The presidents discussed deepening bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade, energy sectors, defense, and defense industry, as well as regional issues,” the information states.
Aliyev arrived in Turkey on Wednesday to participate in the extraordinary summit of the Turkish States Organization (OTG), which will take place on March 16.
