Former Ambassador of Russia to Armenia Anatoly Dryukov Passes Away
Anatoly Dryukov, the former extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Russia to Armenia, has passed away at the age of 87. The information was reported by the Russian embassy in Armenia.
“The Russian embassy in Armenia expresses its deep and sincere condolences to the family and relatives of Anatoly Mateyevich. The farewell ceremony for Dryukov will take place on March 16 at 12:00 PM at the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow,” the statement said.
Dryukov was a graduate of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) under the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He worked abroad multiple times, serving as the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the USSR and Russia in Singapore and India.
