Plan to Combat Measles Discussed Under Anahit Avanesyan's Leadership

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Health under the leadership of Minister Anahit Avanesyan, during which the plan to combat measles was discussed. Clear instructions have been given to carry out necessary actions across all directions.

“We urge the parents of children who have not received planned vaccinations against measles to contact the registration clinic and get vaccinated once again. Let us remind you that vaccinations against measles are scheduled for children at 1 and 4-6 years of age according to the national vaccination calendar. At the same time, individuals who have been in contact with measles patients and do not have two doses of measles vaccination are also subject to vaccination,” the Ministry of Health's statement reads.
