Measures Are Being Taken to Ensure Safety at the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant: Grossi
The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, stated today that necessary measures are being undertaken to ensure safety at the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in Armenia. Grossi made this remark during a conversation with Azerbaijani journalists at the Non-Proliferation Movement Conference held in Baku.
“There is an IAEA mission there, and we are discussing the issues of ensuring safety standards in our communications with our Armenian partners,” Grossi noted.
The Director General of the IAEA was received today in Baku by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
