Çavuşoğlu on Sweden and Finland's NATO Membership
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has warned NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg that Ankara is ready to discuss Finland's application separately from Sweden's. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
“The trilateral agreement clearly states what actions each party must take. Last week, President Erdoğan told Stoltenberg that we could have a different stance on Finland's membership in NATO,” said Çavuşoğlu.
