Biden Finds No Connection Between Downed Balloon and Chinese Intelligence

US President Joe Biden stated in an address to the nation that there is no evidence linking the aerial targets downed over the northern United States and Canada to any foreign intelligence programs.

“We still do not know what these three objects are, but nothing at this point indicates that they are connected to foreign intelligence balloons or Chinese spy programs,” he was quoted as saying by РИА Новости.

Earlier, Glen VanHerck, the head of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), did not rule out the possibility that the aerial targets could be of extraterrestrial origin.

At the same time, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that US authorities do not perceive any extraterrestrial activity in the downed aerial targets.
