Charges Against Armen Charachyan Filed

The member of the "Hayastan" faction, Armen Charachyan, has been formally charged. This information was reported to Armenia Today by Gor Abrahamyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

As a preventive measure, a travel ban has been imposed on him. It is noteworthy that Charachyan was stripped of his parliamentary immunity on February 9, based on a request from the Armenian Prosecutor General.

According to law enforcement, Armen Charachyan, the former director of the Izmirlian Medical Center, is a defendant in the case concerning the seizure of the police regiment in 2017, accused of providing a false medical conclusion regarding the health condition of Arthur Sargsyan, known as the "Bread Bearer."
