"U.S. and Western Statements are False": Syrian President's Advisor on the Situation in the Country

The U.S. and the West do not care about human lives, and all their statements regarding the humanitarian situation in Syria are false. This was stated by Buseyna Shaaban, special advisor to the President of Syria, in an interview with RT.

The information was reported by the SANA News Agency. "If they want to prove the truth of their statements, they must immediately, unconditionally, and without exception, lift the economic coercive measures and cease adopting misleading decisions aimed at creating a deceptive impression about the humanitarian problem following the devastating earthquake in the country," Shaaban stated.

Speaking about the U.S. and European economic sanctions, she noted that they only exacerbate the situation. For this reason, Syria cannot fully utilize all means to rescue people from under the rubble.
