National Assembly Decides to Discuss the Situation in the Armed Forces in a Closed Meeting
The National Assembly of Armenia decided to hold a closed meeting to discuss the urgent issues concerning the situation in the armed forces, which has drawn public interest.
Prior to the vote, at least one-fifth of the total number of deputies had officially put forth such a proposal.
“We can accept this proposal based on the majority vote of the total number of deputies,” said the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan. A total of 64 deputies voted in favor, with no votes against or abstentions.
