We Don't Need Azerbaijani Gas, Says Ann-Laurence Petel
Banish the disgrace of the European Union. This statement was made on her Twitter account by French parliamentarian Ann-Laurence Petel, calling on European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson to stop appeasing dictators.
“Enough is enough. We don’t need Azerbaijani gas. We need to produce renewable energy in the EU and support Armenian democracy,” Petel wrote.
It is worth noting that since December 12, Azerbaijan has kept closed the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the rest of the world.
