Three Changes Effective from February 1: ASHN

Starting from February 1, changes will be implemented in the processes of disbursement of family/social benefits, assessment of an individual's functionality, and cashless pension payments from ‘Haypost’.

1. Citizens applying for disability determination for the first time will undergo an assessment of their functionality.

2. From February 1, family and social benefits, as well as emergency assistance, will be paid in cashless form in all cities of Armenia and in rural communities with a population of 1,000 or more, especially when any changes related to documents are submitted to the territorial center of the Unified Social Service.

3. The national operator, ‘Haypost’, will no longer make cashless payments; it will continue to carry out payments only in cash.
