«The Situation is Now Stalemated» – Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia

Moscow will confront the U.S. line that aims to deliver a strategic defeat to Russia by all available means. This was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He noted that almost all avenues for bilateral dialogue with the U.S. are currently in a stalemate.

“Our relations have reached this deadlock because of Washington's anti-Russian line, which has tightened year after year and month after month. The entire security situation, including arms control, has become a hostage to the U.S. strategy to deliver a strategic defeat to Russia,” Ryabkov stated.

“We will resist this in the most decisive manner, using all resources at our disposal,” the Deputy Minister emphasized.
