Azerbaijan Again Disconnects Gas Supply to Artsakh
Azerbaijan has completely disconnected the gas supply from Armenia to Artsakh. This information was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.
“As a result, the gas supply to the city of Stepanakert will cease in the near future. We urge the population to follow safety regulations,” the statement said.
It is worth mentioning that on the morning of December 12, a group of Azerbaijanis in civilian clothes blocked the Stepanakert-Goris highway, which connects Artsakh to Armenia, under the pretext of environmental reasons.
Since December 13, the Azerbaijani side has periodically disconnected the gas supply to Artsakh.
Since January 9, energy supply from Armenia to Artsakh has also been disconnected from the area under Azerbaijani control. The Azerbaijani side does not allow specialists to approach and assess the reasons for the disconnections for necessary emergency repairs.
In Artsakh, electricity supply is being carried out through scheduled outages. The Lachin corridor remains closed.
