Abdollahian and Bayramov Meet
The Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, have met. The foreign ministers of the two countries discussed regional and international agreements. This was reported by the IRNA news agency.
On Tuesday, the 26th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) foreign ministers was launched in Tashkent with the participation of Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. Foreign ministers from member countries including the Republic of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, and Uzbekistan also attended the meeting. The Secretary General of the ECO, Khusrav Naziri, was also present at the summit.
Afghanistan has chosen not to participate in this year's summit.
