New Wave of Protests in Israel: 100,000 People Take to the Streets
A new wave of protests has erupted near the government complex in Tel Aviv. Demonstrators have gathered again to oppose the judicial reforms announced in the country. It is reported that among the participants is opposition leader Yair Lapid, who earlier stated that this is a "protest for the welfare of the country." More than 100,000 people have gathered this time, according to Israeli media.
Previously, thousands of opponents of Israel's new government led by Benjamin Netanyahu and demands for legal reforms by Justice Minister Yariv Levin had staged a protest in central Tel Aviv.
