Lavrov on Zelensky's Proposed 10-Point Plan
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's proposed peace plan as inappropriate, stating that it mixes various issues, ranging from energy and food security to the withdrawal of Russian troops and tribunals. The information was reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, Zelensky announced during a call to the leaders of the G7 countries the steps he believes will bring peace closer to Ukraine. In particular, he suggested continuing the solidarity achieved in terms of arms supplies and fulfilling the previously proposed peace plan by Ukraine.
“Zelensky is putting forward completely absurd initiatives, a 10-point program that accumulates everything possible: food security, energy security, biological issues, the withdrawal of Russian troops everywhere, the Russian Federation’s repentance, tribunals, condemnation, and so on,” Lavrov stated at a press conference.
