Medvedev Criticizes Japanese Prime Minister: 'He Talks Nonsense About Russia'
In a recent statement on his Telegram channel, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia, criticized Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's comments regarding the potential use of nuclear weapons by Russia and the associated consequences. This information was reported by rbc.ru.
On the previous day, Kishida and U.S. President Joe Biden released a joint statement asserting that 'any use of nuclear weapons by Russia in Ukraine would be an unfounded hostile act against all of humanity.'
Medvedev stated that he refuses to 'even comment on the paranoia regarding the country's nuclear programs.' According to him, the Prime Minister of Japan is 'talking nonsense about Russia,' thus 'betraying the memory of hundreds of thousands of Japanese who were burned during the nuclear fire of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.'
'Moreover, Kishida is absolutely uninterested in the fact that the only country that has fully utilized nuclear weapons is the United States, and the only victim of that is its own homeland,' he wrote.
