VIDEO: Will France Replace Russian Peacekeepers in Artsakh? A Question for the President of the French National Assembly

Today, there is the first European observation group stationed along the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and we hope that we will be able to appeal to Europe once again to send another mission to the area. This is the position that France holds, but every member state must agree with this stance.

These statements were made by Yael Braun-Pivet, the President of the French National Assembly, during a joint press conference with the President of the Armenian National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, in response to the question of whether France is ready to send a fact-finding group to the Lachin corridor and if it is possible that France will replace Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
