Germany's Defense Minister to Resign
Germany's Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, who has faced criticism in recent months over the state of the German armed forces' material and technical base, has decided to resign. This was reported by TASS, citing the German publication Bild.
At the same time, no information has been provided regarding the timing of the resignation. "The initiative comes from her, not from the chancellor's office," the publication states. "We are now discussing the timing of her resignation. Consultations are ongoing regarding her successor."
