Alternative Roads Connecting Nor Nork and Nork-Marash to Yerevan Center to Be Built: Avinyan
The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Tigran Avinyan, has announced that alternative roads will be constructed to connect the Nor Nork and Nork-Marash administrative districts to the city center.
“We have launched the implementation of two significant road projects, which will create alternative routes connecting the citizens of Nor Nork and Nork-Marash to the center of Yerevan. A new road will be constructed from the junction of Gyurjyan and Shopron streets in Nor Nork to Myasnikian Avenue, where we also plan to build a flyover. This road will significantly alleviate the heavy traffic on the upper part of Myasnikian Avenue, which experiences the most congested traffic in this area of Yerevan. The construction phase of this large-scale project is slated to begin in June, and by the end of the year, our citizens will be able to travel on the new road. The design and construction phases of the flyover will also commence this year.
In the Nork-Marash administrative district, Garagin Hovsepyan Street will connect with the bypass road of Saralanj. The road being constructed under this project will provide an alternative route to the center and the Erebuni administrative district. We will start construction work this April, and from June, the residents of Marash will benefit from this much-needed road,” Avinyan stated.
