We Expect More Than Just 'Open Doors': Zelensky on His NATO Expectations
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated at a press conference in Lviv that Kyiv anticipates more from NATO than mere declarations of 'open doors' for Ukraine. This was reported by Kp.ru.
'Just the rhetoric of support regarding 'open doors' from NATO partners is not sufficient for Ukraine,' Zelensky said. He emphasized that proactive measures are needed, and the decision will be made in Vilnius.
'We are expecting powerful steps, something more than just open doors,' Zelensky added.
On January 11, NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg announced that the North Atlantic Alliance and the EU need to increase their military assistance to Kyiv against the backdrop of events occurring near Artemivsk and Soledar.
During a meeting, European Council President Charles Michel stated that a total of 50 billion euros has already been allocated to Ukraine.
