Greece's Foreign Ministry Calls for Unconditional Opening of Lachin Corridor

The Greek Foreign Ministry has issued a statement on its Twitter page calling on Azerbaijan to open the Lachin Corridor, which connects Nagorno-Karabakh with the Republic of Armenia, without any preconditions.

"Greece calls on the Azerbaijani authorities to ensure the safety and freedom of movement for transport and people along the Lachin Corridor in both directions, without any preconditions, in accordance with the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020. The local population must be protected from disasters," the statement read.

It should be noted that for the third consecutive day, Azerbaijan continues to block the only road connecting Artsakh with Armenia.
