Residents of Artsakh Demand Explanations from Peacekeepers Controlling the Road
For several days now, over a thousand residents of Artsakh have been unable to enter their homeland due to the closure of the Lachin corridor, seeking refuge in Goris and surrounding villages.
According to reports from 'Hraparak', approximately two dozen vehicles carrying men from Artsakh have set off from Goris towards Lisagor to demand explanations from the peacekeepers controlling the road and to urge them to reopen the route.
Some vehicles were turned back at the checkpoint in Teghe village because they attempted to transport journalists with them.
It is important to recall that since December 12, Azerbaijan has blocked the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, the Stepanakert-Goris road.
