Accident in Yerevan Involving a Bus: Casualties Reported

On December 9, at 19:13, the National Crisis Management Center received information about a traffic accident near the former checkpoint of Noragavit, Yerevan, with casualties reported and the need for rescue services.

A firefighting team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Yerevan Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a collision occurred between a "Mercedes-Benz C180" vehicle (driven by S. N., born in 1966) and a "PAZ" bus servicing route No. 6 (driven by A. P., born in 1977).

The passenger of the "Mercedes-Benz C180", M. H. (born in 1964), was hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center. Rescuers disconnected the vehicles' batteries, closed the gas cylinders' valves, and assisted passenger Z. H. (born in 1980) by bringing them to an ambulance; they too were hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center.
