Kremlin Comments on the Killing of Russian POWs
The press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Moscow will investigate the killing of Russian prisoners of war in Donbas, according to Interfax.
On November 18, videos began circulating online depicting the bodies of Russian soldiers shot dead by the Ukrainian armed forces.
“Russia will do everything within the framework of international mechanisms to draw attention to this crime and bring to order those who may be related to it. And, of course, Russia itself will seek those who committed this crime. They must be found and punished,” emphasized the Kremlin spokesman. He also added that Russia may appeal to international organizations if it considers them effective.
