Erdogan: 'It Is Impossible for This to Be Limited to Air Operations' Regarding Bombings in Syria
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the possibility of conducting ground operations in neighboring countries following air operations in northern Syria and Iraq. This was reported by РИА Новости.
"It is impossible for this to be limited to air operations. How many ground forces will be involved in this operation will be decided by our relevant units, the Ministry of Defense, and the General Staff together. We will consult and then take appropriate measures. We have already established diplomatic relations with the countries involved here, and we are taking and will continue to take appropriate steps," Erdogan stated.
It is noteworthy that Turkey had bombed residential areas in northeastern Syria.
